Terms of Service
Last updated: October 21, 2026
1. Agreement
These terms are the agreement between you and Egor Pririez (“we”) for the use of Anamnes at getanamnes.com (the “service”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What Anamnes is
Anamnes is a study tool for medical students: spaced repetition flashcards, AI-assisted translation and explanations, a personal dictionary and practice questions generated from your own cards. The service is currently in a closed beta. Features, limits and prices may change, and parts of it may be unavailable from time to time.
3. Study aid only. Not medical advice
- Anamnes is for education. It is not medical advice and must never be used to diagnose, treat or make decisions about a real patient.
- Content made by AI (translations, explanations, practice questions) can be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Check important facts against your textbooks, guidelines and your instructors. Our starter deck and reference tables are written as study material and are also not a substitute for authoritative sources.
- Anamnes is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NBME, the FSMB, the USMLE program or any other examining body. Exam names are used only to describe what students prepare for. We do not promise any exam result.
4. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live.
- Give accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One account is for one person. Do not share it or sell access to it.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the cards, notes, files and other content you create or upload (“your content”). You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it, and to send the text needed for a request to our AI providers, only in order to run the service for you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the shared AI cache described in the Privacy Policy, which is not linked to you.
You promise that:
- you have the right to use what you import or upload, including decks made by other people and copyrighted books, slides or question banks. Do not upload material you are not allowed to copy;
- your content does not break the law, and does not contain real patient information or other people’s private data.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attack, overload or probe the service, or try to get around its security, limits or quotas;
- use bots or scripts to collect content, or to copy the service or its generated content in bulk;
- upload malware, or content that is illegal, hateful or infringes someone else’s rights;
- use the service to harm others, or to cheat in a real examination.
7. AI features and limits
AI features have daily limits, which can differ by plan and can change. We may refuse or remove generated content that appears unsafe or misleading. You can report a card or a question from inside the app.
8. Plans and payments
During the beta the service is free. When paid plans start, we will show the price, the billing period, how to cancel and the refund rules before you buy, and they will apply to your purchase. Prices may differ by country. Taxes are shown at checkout where they apply. We will not charge you without a clear action from you.
The rules for buying a paid plan, including refunds (7 days), are in the Public Offer.
9. Our rights
The service, its design, software, logo and our own content (such as the starter deck) belong to us or our licensors. You may use them through the service for your own study. You may not copy, resell or build a competing product from them.
10. No guarantees, and limits of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it reliable but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or that your data can never be lost. Keep your own copy of what matters (Settings, Your Data, “Download my data”).
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or for any result of relying on study content, including an exam result. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or to 50 euros if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live, or liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes
We may change these terms, for example when we add paid plans. The date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes we will tell you in the app or by e-mail before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the country where the operator of the service is established, and the courts there can hear disputes, without taking away any consumer protection that applies to you by law in the country where you live.
